okay so i'm going on vacation over the summer to a water park place for a week and i'm pretty sure i'm going to start my period when i'm there. i'm really scared cause i don't want it to leak out or anything. i do use tampons, but i'm scared of having an accident with them. and i always have a heavy flow so i have to change my tampon really often.
what should i do? i don't know if i'm going to be able to change my tampon often.
how can i make the tampon last longer?
i'm so scared.

well what you should do is tell ur mom when u start it and then tell her to make sure you can change it often also you should try not to run often..i went on vacation recently and we went to the beach and i was terrified i was going to leake out and i also have a heavy flow lol but yea what i did was i just went to the bathroom every hour.. most likley there will be a bathroom close by and you should have tampons close by and every hour walk to the bathroom and change it just to b safe :)

As long as you have a tampon in, you'll be okay. When you're in water, it seems to stop the flow of blood, so you won't be bleeding as much.

I recently went to the beach on my period i was in the deep near some fishing poles and i did not get attacked i aree with the answer above me
