Windows Movie Maker - Default Picture Duration?

Postby checha » Sun Nov 06, 2011 2:10 pm

Hi,

I would like my pictures to last longer than 5 seconds however when I change the Default Picture Duration from Tools > Options > Advance it doesn't seem to make a difference in how long my pictures are staying up.

I am previewing from the storyboard if this makes a difference. I've set the duration time all the way up to 30 seconds and it's not making a change.

The only option which seems to work is the "Slow Down, Half" video effect and that increases the time from 5 seconds to 8 which is too long lol.

I have video transitions between each picture and I think this is making a difference as well as the pictures seem to stay up for 3 seconds rather than 5 seconds.

Any ideas.
