Ok, well normal periods last anywhere between 3-7 days, and can last 8-9 days for some women. Most get a bit crabby and irritable on their periods....called PMS...

Now, Implanon not only increases irritability, it makes periods wildly irregular, and the constant bleeding is pretty normal. I'm not sure if it's like heavy bleeding all day, every day, or if it's just a little blood here and there...

If it's a lot of blood every day all the time for months, she needs to see a doctor, because that's very bad, and can be a sign of more serious problems. If it's just a little blood here and there, it's probably just her reacting to Implanon, and that's pretty normal. I've had some periods that last 6 weeks...one lasted 2 months lol it's all pretty normal, and a lot of women on Implanon have constant "spotting" which is really light, random bleeding for no apparent reason.

Implanon also increases irritability, mood swings, and depression, so she may be having some emotional things going on as well.

Now, not passing judgment, but the fact you've only been going out for 3 months and started having that much sex that early probably means she's not actually into you for a boyfriend as much as she is for sex, and she's probably getting bored with you, and going to drop you soon. That's usually when women start hanging out with friends more and doesn't want to have anything to do with you...kinda obvious when you guys started having so much sex so early- clearly she wasn't into you for anything more than that. I doubt it has much to do with the Implanon, and more to do with the way she is, and she isn't that into you.

I'm really sorry you're having to deal with this- maybe wait a little longer before you have sex with your next girlfriend and get to know her a little better first...just some friendly advice.

Periods occur once a month, on average from 4 - 7 days. Rarely does a period last longer then a week, let alone 2. Being on birth control can change that however. I had a friend who was taking the shot bc, and her period lasted over an entire month. Was really strange.

The best thing for you to do is to just talk to her. Ask her if she is on her period. She may for the moment have no interest in sex, or just wants to be around her friends a bit more.

periods last for seven days and this only happens once a month. but don't worry so much about her spending time with her friends, she might need some space but it should only last for a while, but if she bleeds for more than 7 days be sure to consult with a doctor just to make sure she isn't ill.

they normally are 3-7 days and that much bleeding is not good also with the mood change its obviously a sign that her birth control is causing some kind of hormone problem.

sounds like she is having a physical problem and needs to go to dr to get this cleared up.
